Troubleshooting
If you are having problems getting our quote engine to load, we suggest you check that you have pasted the correct script tag onto your webpage. You should have received personalised instructions that replace the [INSTALLER-ID] with a real ID:
<script async defer id="truequote_script" src="https://truequote.co.uk/quote/[INSTALLER-ID]/js"></script>If you have followed our instructions correctly, added our script, and our quote engine does not appear or does not open correctly, check the following:
Do not add our script more than once on the page.
Do not add our script inside the
<head>or below the</body>tag — our quote engine will not be visible on the page.
If you are using buttons, make sure your HTML has at least one
buttonwith anidof#truequotebutton(or#truequotebutton1,#truequotebutton2, etc).
If you are adding a
divwith anidof#truequotecta, make sure there is only one such div on your page.
If you add our script just above the
</body>tag and do not have any buttons named#truequotebutton(or#truequotebutton1etc), or adivwith anidof#truequotecta, our quote engine will load automatically at the bottom of your page.
